so first add the ratios= 1+2+3=6
then multiply the first ratio by 42= 1/6×42=7
then multiply the second ratio by 42=2/6×42=14
then multiply the last ratio by 42=3/6×42=21
 so it will be 1=7, 2=14, 3=21 to prove it add al the share they got then u will get 42
