Answer: We are given that Vera phone's battery life is [tex]\frac{2}{5}[/tex]

Also we know that, every hour phone's battery drains [tex]=\frac{1}{9}[/tex]

Now the number of hours her battery will last is:

[tex]\frac{\frac{2}{5} }{\frac{1}{9} } =\frac{2}{5} \times \frac{9}{1} =\frac{18}{5}= 3.6[/tex]

Therefore her battery will lost for 3.6 hours
