The better deal is 3 apples for $1.

Otherwise you would pay $0.50 more for the same amount.

Hope this helps.

Answer:

if we take 3 apples at 0.50 each we get 1.50 so that means if you get 3 for 1$ its a better deal because if you wanted to buy 3 apples at regular price it would cost more......

0.50x3 =$1.50

3 APPLES FOR 1$ IS A BETTER DEAL.
