Independent because picking a blue marble and then putting it back doea not change the outcome of picking another marble. If it had have said "Event A:Picking a blue marble, without replacement. "Event B: Picking a red marble, then it would be Dependent because since the first marble was not replaced the denominator(total amount of marbles) would drop and cause the outcome to change.
