the jars of paint in the art room have different amounts of paint. The green paint jar is 4/8 full. The purple paint jar is 4/6 full. which paint jar is less full?​

As a side note this question is misleading. Nevertheless, if you convert to a common denominator it may be easier so 4/8 is equivalent to 12/24 whereas 4/6 is equivalent to 16/24. Therefore 16/24 > 12/24 so the green paint jar is "less full"
