If you’re going by car, you won’t even end up traveling you would end up getting stopped by the first 20 minutes of the car ride and get stopped & robbed by drug cartels. It has happened to me before it’s the scariest thing ever if you’re planning on going PLEASE take a plane over there and then go and pay for a bus ticket to drive you over there. The busses are followed and guarded by polices.
