That’s just the equation for a circle. The center would be (4,0)...you just set whatever is in the parentheses to 0 for both x and y.

Answer:  (4,0)

========================================================

Explanation:

The given equation is the same as (x-4)^2 + (y-0)^2 = (sqrt(90))^2

It is in the form (x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2

We have the following

  • h = 4
  • k = 0
  • r = sqrt(90)

The center is (h,k) = (4,0) and the radius is sqrt(90) units
