Steps:

(2x-1)² - 4 = 0

4x²-4x+1 - 4 = 0

4x²-4x-3 = 0

x = (4±√((-4)²-4×4×(-3))/2×4

x = (4±√(16+48)/8

x = (4±8)/8

x = 12/8 , x = -4/8

x = 3/2 , x = -1/2
