Simplify the expression (p^+pq+q^2)-(-p^2+3q+q^2) as,

[tex]\begin{gathered} (p^2+pq-q^2)+(-p^2+3pq+q^2)=p^2+pq-q^2-p^2+3pq+q^2 \\ =4pq \end{gathered}[/tex]

So answer is 4pq.
