The slope between two points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is given by:

[tex]m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

In this case we have the points (2,-4) and (6,4), then:

[tex]\begin{gathered} m=\frac{4-(-4)}{6-2} \\ m=\frac{4+4}{4} \\ m=\frac{8}{4} \\ m=2 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Therefore, the slope is 2
