3 1/2= 3.5 inches and 4 2/3 feet is 56 inches. Now put 3.5/56=0.0625

first you convert each whole fraction into a improper fraction(7/2and14/3). Then u take the inverse of 7/2 which is 2/7 and multiply it by 14/3 which is28/21 then simplify and that equals 4/3
