The simplest form of adding the given fractions is [tex]\frac{1}{3}[/tex]

Given :

[tex]\frac{11}{12} +\frac{-7}{12}[/tex]

We need to add the fractions and write it in simplest form

To add any two fractions the denominators should be same

Here the denominators are same

so we combine the numerators

[tex]\frac{11}{12}+\frac{-7}{12}\\\frac{11-7}{12}\\\frac{4}{12}[/tex]

divide both sides by 4
