What is the value of b in the equation (y⁻⁹) ^b= y⁴⁵?

B would be - 5 because whenever you get a question which has a power inside and outside the bracket : (a^6)^3 you always multiply them

So to check you can do:
- 9 * - 5 = 45
Which shows that b = - 5 is correct
