“Why the Sun Is Brighter Than the Moon” is important to its culture because it shows us the warnings about the behaviors that we must avoid. In the story, Araw was the older daughter and was kind, while her sister Buwan, was cruel. Therefore, God sent to angels to punish Buwan for her cruelty.
