abby is putting tiles on a floor she needs 48 tiles and 8 rows each row has 6 blue tiles the rest are purple how many purple tiles will she need

48 tiles divided up into 8 rows equals 6 tiles in each row.  If each row has 6 blue tiles, then all of the tiles are blue :( She does not need any purple tiles.  Are you sure that you wrote your question correctly?

She will not need any purple tiles because all of her tiles, 8*6, 48, will be blue.
